About Me

Who Am I?

Hi there! I am Jade Marie and I recently relocated to Wichita, Kansas, all the way from the United Kingdom! Here I plan to continue to inspire people to embrace their full vocal ability and to help them to understand how their voice works.

My Story

My dream was always to be a teacher. I just needed to find my calling.

Originally I trained to teach English to high school students but I could never shake off my passion for singing and performance. So I thought, why not combine both of my passions? Why not just teach AND sing? Voice coaching was a perfect way to do this.

After graduating The University of Essex in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Literature, I started to focus on truly learning to understand my voice. I had already been having lessons for a few years, taught by Estill Master Trainer, Tara Wilcox, who is still my coach to this day. I also attended Millar Howar Theatre Arts from age 17-20, where I was given instruction in acting, dance and singing and was awarded the amazing opportunity to perform some fabulous roles during my time with them including Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and The Lion in The Wizard of Oz.

Once I was confident my passion was certainly to teach singing rather than English, I kept a part time role working in schools but began to further educate myself within the arts by joining a choir which took part in local competitions, gaining a distinction in grade 8 music theatre from The London College of Music and completing my Estill Level 1&2 voice training.

Additionally, I attended many workshops which allowed me to work with names including Scott Alan, Hadley Fraser and Rosalie Craig. I auditioned for and performed in many shows including Ruthie Henshall: Care For A Song (The Regent), A Song For Each (Braintree Arts Theatre), 40 Fabulous Year (The Manifest Theatre) and more.

During this time I also covered singing lessons for a local theatre school and began to teach a few students of my own. I have been teaching private lessons since 2016 and I love every minute of it.
